Heart Changes: A Guest Post

Today I am thrilled to be the guest blogger at (in)courage, one of my favorite sites!

I wrote a short piece about a small-town, Iowa girl (me) and how God used

a tiny Amazon village and one woman to change my world and my heart.

I hope you’ll hop on over here to check out my post, Heart Changes!

Thanks so much for reading.

Love you all!

  1. Wow – what an experience & a beautiful telling of it, Mel!

  2. YOU MADE ME CRY!!! And I just put on my mascara!! Ha! While rockin’ out to the Jeremy Camp’s song that I just shared with you on your other post, I read your guest post. The tears are still wet on my cheeks.

Oh dear Father! What a wonderful and awesome God You are! To reach into the smallest corner with the same grace we know here in our successful and materialistic nation……I am humbled. And can’t wait to meet that woman one day. And Father thank you for creating a connection between this barefoot girl and me, a prodigal.

Mel…..YOU keep on writing! YOU GOT SKILLS!!!

    • Aw, thank you friend. :)

I can’t wait to meet her, either. I can remember so much about that day, but I can’t remember what she looked like. I’ve tried to picture her and just can’t. But the memory she left in my mind is more important. :)

You bless me, RG. Love ya!
