Today’s Topic: Broken
It’s been a broken week.
The kind that started with Sunday tears and wondering and wishing that life made sense in a week that is supposed to be beautiful and the perfect reflection of the sacrifice my Jesus made for me.
And then I think about how broken He became for me. His body was literally broken.
He was broken to fix me, fix this heart, give me hope and peace in a world that offers no such things.
And, yet, I will still catch myself looking at the world, trying to use it to fix whatever seems to be wrong at the moment.
My greatest need is Him…and though there are days and even weeks or longer that seem to be a mess of broken, I must always remember that because I have him…
I am redeemed.
Made new.
Forgiven.
Healed.
Hopeful.
I am anything but broken.
And as I reflect on a day full of unimaginable pain and sacrifice, I am so very thankful that he was wounded and broken, he died and rose again…
So that I might live.
What a beautiful, uplifting reminder. Thank you
Thanks for stopping by, Megan! Blessings!
Phew! Preach it, girl!! Despite the baskets and bunnies and eggs and such littering the store shelves, Easter has snuck up on me. I’ve been buried in the tunnel of busy – a lot of it good busy, but still – and no time has been made for reflection, gratitude, the enormity of it.
It’s amazing how that happens. Praying you have a blessed Easter…thank you for stopping by!
He was broken to fix me, fix this heart, give me hope and peace in a world that offers no such things.
What hope! What a celebration! He is risen indeed!
Alleluia! Blessings to you, Loni…and Happy Easter!
AMEN!!
Oh what a wonderful reminder that the world can’t give us what we long for. What is only possible though Him. And this moment that He gave up everything to give us everything. Thank you for sharing. Blessings.
Blessings to you, too, Wendy…thank you for stopping by!

How sad but how beautiful that He had to be broken in order for us to be healed. Thanks for a moment of reflection.
You’re welcome…blessings, dear friend!
So thankful we are whole in Him. I spent many years living broken. Today I live a different broken that’s of Him. Beautiful.

Amen. God certainly doesn’t leave us broken. Hope your weekend if full of love and peace.
Happy Easter, friend! Praying God’s blessings on you and your family.
What a gentle rebuke here. We are so often ready to call ourselves broken long after we have been mended. We may still have scars that will take a long time to fade, but we are not broken. Thank you for that.
It’s definitely a reminder I need often! Thanks for stopping by, Amy…blessings!
Amen sister. You are anything but broken. You’re whole and healed and so much in Christ! Bless you dearly.

Thank you, Amanda! Blessings!
I love that we are anything but broken. It is hard to think of myself that way,but I do think that is why Jesus died for us. So we don’t have to be broken. Why is it so hard to hold on to that truth? I struggle with it as I know you do too. I am super late in posting, but I wanted to stop by and say Happy Easter! I hope you and your family have a blessed day!
Aw, thank you, friend! Happy Easter to you and your family, too! Blessings!
