But now they’ve warmed up to her and are pretty protective. Andre still has his jealous moments, but Sammy loves loves loves her. He will lie on the floor next to her and let her pull his fur. It’s cute. :)

How did they feel when you brought Maelie home? Are they protective? Our neighbors had a baby boy last May and their 2 dogs are super protective, sitting at his bedroom door while he sleeps. So cute. Dogs are so smart!

Just adorable! Thank you for sharing these pics! My youngest daughter and son-in-law have a 1 yr. old yellow lab, Leo, he is all puppy and rambunctious too. I love his wrinkly forehead. He’s my granddog *smile*

Hope all is going well! Glad you could have a date the other nite too! So important to keep the marriage rollin’ after the kids come. It’s hard, but important.
