Yowsers, that's such a cool story! I can just picture it...oh, it would literally have taken my breath away! Thanks for sharing!!!

Barefoot is the best...Mae and I both went without shoes, even though we never ventured past our yard. Was still fun. ;)

You know I love random!

Okay, mac and cheese of any variety. YUCK. Sorry.

I'm sorry you're sick. It just leaves you drained and all over grody. Food isn't good to me when I'm sick either.

Good luck on your "speech" Thursday, I'm sure you'll do just splendidly!!

I'm all about barefoot today. I have a hair appointment in 3 hours. I should do my toes as well! I've been up since 4:30, had to take my dad and his wife to the airport. Got 3 hours sleep. Yeah.....I'm not doin' my toes. It will be a surprise if I even get in the shower! Ha!

Here is my awesome thunderstorm/lightning story:

Summer of 2009 my husband and I were helping a friend who had a vending business work HeavenFest here in Denver. If you don't know what that is, it's a bunch of different Christian bands performing over the course of a looooong day! There's like 8 stages and the music blares. It was pretty cool for this music freak! We had been working since 8 am, it's now 11 pm and we're pooped! In a big way! The eating and buying crowds have cleared and there is only one stage left open. I walk up onto this field and I can hear the guy in the microphone saying, "King of kings and Lord of lords" as the crowd goes wild. I look up and all around us is a lightning storm. It's encircling the large area where we were, everytime the lightning would strike you could see the clouds in the night sky. But right above us, in this dome of protection was the stars. All of that being taken in the same time brought me to tears.

Awesome!

Hope you get to feeling even better today! Hope Mae girl is good for you too!
