I just had to catch up on some blog reading and yours is a go to fav.. and well what a fun sweet surprise to see my book in that stack.. i was looking at the picture and I was like.. i recognize that book.. lol.. then I was like I wrote that! you made my day and made me tear up a little. and yes.. my friend.. I CANNOT wait until we get to meet IN real life.. and would love love to go to nepal or well anywhere with you. i know we would be BFF’s :0) love your favorite things list. and you are totally rocking the earrings.. they look great

Thanks, my friend…for being here, for always encouraging me. You’ll have to share your thoughts when you read Kara’s book…but I understand. Her words are so powerful and so heart-wrenching. I just cry. God truly used her in so many of our lives…and is still using her. Sending you hugs…I hope your weekend is wonderful.

The earrings totally work! Part of the trick to big earrings with short hair is making sure they aren’t a huge solid lump – when you wear a hoop or a long skinny earring, the negative space around the earring make it totally work. Coming from the gal who is currently rocking a huge pair of hoops 😉 And your earrings are SO cute. LOVE them

I just got Kara’s book. I haven’t started it yet, probably because I know it’ll be hard. But I know it’s going to be beautiful too. And, yes, Jenn’s book is funny and encouraging and convicting and … all kinds of other things. Love it. The day about waiting is my favorite.

Also, I love your earrings. I have small silver hoops I keep in my ears (three holes on each side) all of the time. That’s totally not creative earring wearing.
